Storytelling

Supporting them in telling their own story

Storytelling, Culture, and the Arts

ConCuerda has been organizing and leading the Cultural Journalism Workshop for several years. This workshop has become a popular meeting place for young journalism students from universities in Cartagena and youths from disadvantaged neighbourhoods of Cartagena. Esteemed journalists and media critics lead this workshop and accompany participants in discussions and activities focused on cultural journalism and the role of culture in society.

The Cultural Journalism Workshop was made possible due to the support and commitment of several Colombian organizations, including the Journalism Centre CEPER of the Andes University, Fine Arts and Sciences University of Bolívar (UNIBAC), the critical journalism magazine CeroSetenta, the Gabo Foundation, the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, and the independent journalism organization La Liga Contra el Silencio.
